Disbelief and shock are uniting Catholics and the French nation.
PARIS — There are very few words to sum up the emotions of Catholics and non-Catholics alike as we watch the fire sweeping through the rooftops of Notre Dame. Crowds gather in silence to stare in disbelief, in prayer, and perhaps with a glimmer of hope that the firefighters can get control of the fire before it destroys one of France’s greatest treasures any further.

The cathedral that stands so prominently along the banks of the River Seine is not only the symbol of Paris but a refuge for its citizens, offering Masses and support through major events, including the terrorist attacks in 2015. And now as we see its famous spire falling, there are tears in the eyes of many of those gathered — regardless of their faith.

The shock of the blaze runs so deep perhaps because we’ve taken this imposing cathedral for granted for so long. An 856-year-old monument is collapsing before our eyes, incredibly at a time that major restoration work had only just started. A solid structure that seemed to replicate the strength of the many French Catholics, a cathedral that survived bombings, floods, and terrorist plots over centuries has now succumbed to a fire, which may have started accidentally due to the present renovation project.

Di bale, huwag na natin pong usisahin pa kung anong pagka-lider ang meron sila pero ang mahalaga ay itong Kahalili ni Apostol San Pedro,  ang Obispo ng Iglesia sa Roma at lider ng NAG-IISA, PANGKALAHATANG IGLESIA KATOLIKA ay napiling ika-4 na pinakadakilang lider sa buong mundo ayon sa Fortune Magazine.

In it's second just released list, Francis is given fourth place in the ranking of the "extraordinary men and women who are transforming business, government, philanthropy, and so much more,"according to magazine. 

Since becoming Pope in 2013, the magazine said that Francis, the former Jorge Mario Bergoglio, "has been shaking up the management of one of the world’s largest bureaucracies: the Roman Catholic Church." 

While noting this earned him the "top spot" on Fortune's list of World's Greatest Leaders last year, the magazine says "his vision, fortitude, and commitment to reform were so extraordinary in 2014 that we’re including him again this year."

Synod 2012 ng Iglesia ni Cristo: Para sa Bagong Pagpapalaganap ng Pananampalatayang Kristiano

VATICAN NEWS - Ang Vatican ay naglathala ng Instrumentum Laboris -- isang dokumento na maglalayon ng pang-uusap ng mga Synod Fathers tungkol sa New Evangelization for the Transmission of Christian Faith. Ito ay gaganapin sa ika-7 ng Oktubre hanggang ika-28 ng Oktubre sa taong kasalukuyan.

Ang Ordinary Assembly of the Synod of Bishops ay may apat na kapitulong dapat pag-uusapan na maglalayon ng malalim na pagmumuni at diskusyon sa loob ng tatlong linggo.

Bukod sa mga Obispo, maraming mga experts sa usapin ito at iba pang mga panauhin ang inaasahang dadalo rito at makikibahagi.

Ipagdasal natin ang ating mga Obispo.  Nawa'y sa pamamagitan gn Synod na ito ay magkakaroon pa ng maraming mga ordinaryong Misyonerong Katoliko ang magbabahagi at magtatanggol sa Inang Santa Iglesia- ang Iglesia Katolika na siyang tunay na Iglesia ni Cristo.

Halos Dalawang Milyon ang dumalo sa ginanap na World Meeting of Families sa Milan, Italya

Ayon sa mga pahayagan mahigit isang milyon ang mga dumali sa World Meeting of Families na ginanap sa Milan, Italy noong nakaraang linggo.

Ang Santo Papa ay lubong ang kagalakan sapagkat buhay na buhay pa rin ang panawagan ng Inang Iglesia ni Cristo na ang pamilya ang siyang tanging institusyon na pinagbuklod ng Dios upang ibahagi ang kanyang pag-ibig sa tanan.

The Milan Visit certainly comforted the Pope, as he himself confided to Cardinal Angelo Scola, but the one who saw or heard almost two million people during the three days was also sustained by them in the reflection, common to every human person, and strengthened in the Catholic faith shared above all by a great many families from every part of the world.
