Sa pagkakaalam nila, palibhasa Philippine setting lamang ang alam nila sa Iglesia Katolika-- eh pinagbabawalan raw ng Iglesia Katolika ang PAG-AASAWA taliwas sa tunay na katuruan nito.

Kung 'IPINAGBABAWAL' pala eh bakit ito ay DETAILED na pinaliwanag sa Part Two, Section Two, Chapter 3, Article 7 ng Catechism of the Catholic Church bilang isang SAKRAMENTO (ng KASAL)?!

Baka naman ang tinutukoy nila ay ang ating KAPARIAN.  Kung 'yan ang kanilang tinutukoy, mali pa rin sila sapagkat HINDI pinagbabawal ang pag-aasawa sa mga pari kundi ito ay isang DISIPLINA lamang.

Why can't a priest ever marry?

Answer:

In the Eastern rites of the Church it is common for married men to be ordained to the priesthood. Further, in the Latin rite there are a few married men, converted ministers from other faiths, who are ordained to the Catholic priesthood. This, however, is not common. Finally, in neither the Latin rite nor the Eastern rites do priests (or deacons) marry after they have been ordained, except in extraordinary circumstances.

The reasons Latin rite priests can’t marry is both theological and canonical.

Theologically, it may be pointed out that priests serve in the place of Christ and therefore, their ministry specially configures them to Christ. As is clear from Scripture, Christ was not married (except in a mystical sense, to the Church). By remaining celibate and devoting themselves to the service of the Church, priests more closely model, configure themselves to, and consecrate themselves to Christ.

As Christ himself makes clear, none of us will be married in heaven (Mt 22:23–30). By remaining unmarried in this life, priests are more closely configured to the final, eschatological state that will be all of ours.

Paul makes it very clear that remaining single allows one’s attention to be undivided in serving the Lord (1 Cor 7:32–35). He recommends celibacy to all (1 Cor 7:7) but especially to ministers, who as soldiers of Christ he urges to abstain from "civilian affairs" (2 Tm 2:3–4).

Canonically, priests cannot marry for a number of reasons. First, priests who belong to religious orders take vows of celibacy. Second, while diocesan priests do not take vows, they do make a promise of celibacy.

Third, the Church has established impediments that block the validity of marriages attempted by those who have been ordained. Canon 1087 states: "Persons who are in holy orders invalidly attempt marriage."

This impediment remains as long as the priest has not been dispensed from it, even if he were to attempt a civil marriage, even if he left the Church and joined a non-Catholic sect, and even if he apostatized from the Christian faith altogether. He cannot be validly married after ordination unless he receives a dispensation from the Holy See (CIC 1078 §2, 1).

Hindi ba't malaking KAMANGMANGAN ito? Sino bang Ministro ang nagturo sa kanila na ito ang pangalan ng Santa Iglesia?

An INC staff said the event was a regular evangelical gathering.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — An event by the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) on Tuesday in Pasig City got many non-members confused as they thought it was to be a free medical and dental mission.

Around 7,000 INC members attended but many non-INC also went to the Philippine Sports Arena (formerly Ultra) hoping to get free medical attention.

But according to INC officials, the gathering was solely for evangelical and entertainment purposes.

Eliseo Valle, district minister of Metro Manila east, said what they prepared was a spiritual activity coupled with handing out some form of assistance to the people.

Some, like Adelaida Dela Cruz — a Catholic — felt somewhat disappointed. She said she had decided to go to the event because she needed a free check-up.

"Okay lang, nandito na eh. Makinig na lang ng kanilang usap-usapan, pulutin ang dapat mapupulot mo," she said.

[Translation: "Since we're here already, might as well listen to what they have to say."]

The program began around 1 p.m. with performances, followed by a religious service at 4 p.m.

A number of showbiz personalities showed up like Vic Sotto and wife Pauleen Luna, Snooky Serna, Gladys Reyes and rapper Andrew E.

However, those who attended didn't go home empty-handed as canned goods and rice were distributed around 5:30 p.m.

The event has had a moderate effect on traffic compared to previous gridlocks observed in INC's past outdoor medical and dental missions — with slowdowns taking place mostly during entry — and exit to the venue of participants during evening rush hour.

FOUR unidentified men fired shots into the house of a known supporter of an estranged sibling of Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) executive minister Eduardo Manalo in Tanay, Rizal province, early Friday morning.

Lorelei de los Santos said she refused to believe that the attack may be related to the support she had given to Lolita Manalo-Hemedez over the past few months.

“I can’t fathom the idea that they would do this to me. I didn’t expose anything. I just supported Ka Lottie since she called for our help, because I can’t take it in my heart to see someone suffer,” De los Santos told the Inquirer in a phone interview. “I haven’t done anything wrong. I didn’t hurt or malign anyone. I love the INC. Even if I was expelled, I still remain a faithful INC member at heart.”

Manalo siblings to stay put at 36 Tandang Sora until new order

MANILA, Philippines – Lottie Manalo-Hemedez and Angel Manalo, the estranged siblings of Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) executive minister Eduardo Manalo, cannot be kicked out of the contested 36 Tandang Sora property in Quezon City (QC) just yet.

This is after the Manila Metropolitan Trial Court (MTC) Branch 12 clarified this week that it cannot issue the writ of execution on its earlier decision for the siblings to “immediately vacate” the compound, following the INC’s unlawful detainer case against the Manalos.

An unlawful detainer case stems from a landlord's complaint against a tenant who allegedly illegally continues to use his or her property. The landlord seeks the help of the court to evict the tenant.

“The court said the Manila MTC has only been delegated the function of receiving evidence and conducting the hearing. But a writ of execution can only be issued by the QC MTC,” Hemedez’s lawyer Trixie Angeles-Cruz told Rappler on Saturday, June 25.

The INC previously filed an illegal detainer case against the Manalos for insisting on staying at 36 Tandang Sora even after their expulsion from the 101-year-old church.
