Eukaristia: Tunay na Katawan at Dugo ni Cristo

Ngayon ay ipinagdiriwang ng Iglesia ni Cristo sa buong mundo ang Kapistahan ng Banal na Katawan at Dugo ng ating Panginoong Hesus sa anyong tinapay at alak.

Tayong mga nananampalataya sa tunay na Iglesia ni Cristo ay naniniwalang ang Tinapay at Alak na inaalay sa Banal na Misa ay siyang Tunay na Katawan at Dugo ni Cristo.

Marahil sasabihin ng ilan na "simbulo" lamang ang tinapay at alak bilang katawan at dugo ng Cristo ngunit sa Banal na Kasulatan ay sinasabi ng Biblia na tunay ngang Katawan at Dugo ni Cristo ang anyong tinapay at alak.

Sabi mismo ni Cristo: "Ito ang Aking Katawan... Ito ang aking Dugo..."  (Mt. 26:26-28)

Narito po sa ibaba ang ugat ng ating pananampalatayang pinapaniwalaan pa noong una hanggang sa kasalukuyan.  Banal na Kasulatan po ang saksi sa katotohanang sinasampalatayanan natin sa Iglesia ni Cristo.

Jn 6:51 "I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is My Flesh."

Jn 6:52 "How can this man give us his Flesh to eat?"

Jn 6:53 "Unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of man and drink His Blood, you have no life in you; he who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal life." The Jews who heard this said,

Jn 6:60 "This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?"

The apostles celebrated the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist. Acts 2:46 "Day by day, attending the Temple together and breaking bread in their homes…"

Acts 20:7 "On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the morrow; and he prolonged his speech until midnight."  

Acts 20:11 "And when Paul had gone up and had broken bread and eaten, he conversed with them a long while, until daybreak, and so departed."

Acts 27:35 "...he took bread, and giving thanks to God in the presence of all he broke it and began to eat. Then they all were encouraged and ate some food themselves."

1 Cor 10:16 "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a participation in the Blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a participation in the Body of Christ?"

1 Cor 11:27 "Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of profaning the Body and Blood of the Lord."

1 Cor 11:29 "For any one who eats and drinks without discerning the Body eats and drinks judgment upon himself."

Tunay nga po na ang paniniwalang  Katawan at Dugo ni Cristo ang anyong Tinapay at Alak ay pananampalatayang Kristiano mula pa sa panahon ng mga Apostoles.
